Research Of Interpolating And Plotting Of Constructing Isoline In Geology

The isoline graph has been widely used in engineering and technique field, such as oil exploration development, mining, geology, physical geography, geochemistry and meteorology, and it is one of the important maps that the achievement of many fields show. It also unifies shape and data. However, it is still often to draw the isoline graph with faultage manually during the data processing. So, kinds of oil field graphs are the very important researching content by automatically plotting of computer.In this thesis, we discussed the basic theory of constructing isoline and the interpolating, tracing, corresponding and filling algorithm. Based on Object Oriented technology, we implemented Computer Aided Auto Drawing of thrust isoline graph which is fulfilled with Visual C++ in the platform of Microsoft Visual Studio 2003.First, I reviewed the application background, current research, and the technical bottleneck in realizing computer aided automatic drawing. Then, I analyzed the theory and method of isoline graph's drawing and interpreted the nomenclature of geology. In the aspect of collectivity character of system, I give the design which contained substantiality object class, object data model and plotting frame. In the aspect of system implementing, we obtained the uniform data distribution from discrete data points by inserting spatial dots and the set up digital elevation model of correlative area through constructing mutual linked rectangle nets. The isoline graph was implemented based on the algorithm of isoline tracing. If fault block existed, we set up the vertical displacement of the ground floor using the fault block's head drop information to regulate the discrete simple points in the investigative area into the spatial site before the fault block is generated and to remove the influence that the fault block causes. In the process of the isoline draw, we apply extrapolation to deal with the grid with the fault block line to finish the isoline generation with the fault block, which we used to gain the isoline graph with fault block. Lastly, we filled the isoline region for expediently researching the isoline graph.This work which introduced by the article is applied to the software of isoline plotting of a company in Wuhan, the software has been used by some oil field department in our country, which is running steadily and reliably and gaining some economic benefits.
