THz radiation is 0.1 ~ 10THz electromagnetic radiation. Its frequency is between the radio waves and light, and between the millimeter wave and infrared; its power is between the electronics and photonics. In the electromagnetic spectrum, infrared and microwave technology on both sides of the THz have been very mature, but THz technology is almost still a blank. Due to the high frequency of THz, the spatial resolution of THz is very high; THz pulse source usually contains a number cycles of electromagnetic oscillation and a single pulse from the band can cover from GHz to tens of THz, so that it could analyze the nature of the material in a wider scope. As the THz pulse is very short, a typical pulse width has a high temporal resolution in the picoseconds scale. It can not only be easily carried out on a variety of time-resolved material studies, but also it can effectively suppress the background radiation noise interference through the sampling measurement technology.Chapter One of this paper briefly introduces the importance of THz Radar and the significance of this study. THz wave takes one kind of special wave band, has the high time and the spatial resolution, is especially prominent in the image formation aspect. This part has explained the current study of THz sources and its problems. The high efficiency THz wave source's design difficulty has affected THz radar's development. Chapter Two deals with THz technologies, including generation technology, which include Photoconductivity antenna, electronic shake launcher, THz quantum cascade laser, detection technology, which include Electric light survey and its image formation technology and imaging technology of THz. Chapter Three is about the design theory diagram of THz Radar include Typical pulsed radar and Phased-array radar, Obtains phased-array radar's merit through the theoretical analysis.Chapter Four has obtained targeting principle of by calculating all kinds of data. Chapter V theoretically analyzes the functional principle of THz Radar anti-stealth and it discusses the feasibility of application of THz Radar to airborne fire control radar. Chapter six is a summary of this paper and puts forward the further outlook of the application of THz Radar.This article prime task: 1. Carried on the theoretical analysis and the construction based on THz wave to THz radar's design. Stablished the theory diagram 2. THz technical application aircraft-borne fire radar system; established the related technical theory and carried on the theoretical analysis.This paper has made a theoretical analysis of the design of THZ radar, which lays foundation for the further design and application of THZ radar.
