Grid is a new technology which has flourished quickly in recent years. Its occurrence has whipped up the next wave of internet technology. Computation grid originally aimed to combine supercomputers through internet so as to solve complex and large-scale computing problems. At present, the aim has evolved into combining various types of computers in different areas in a reasonable way and the highly integrated organic unity can supply powerful computing abilities to common users, people use grid's computing power as conveniently as people use electric power now.The high-speed networks develop very fast, which makes it possible to integrate the distributed and heterogeneous computing resources into Grid. Because the resources in Grid are distributed, heterogeneous and dynamic, the resource scheduling of the Gird is still a challenging problem.This paper research on grid resource management and scheduling algorithm, main work is following:At first, the basic concepts and grid technologies are introduced, the popular grid infrastructures are described, resource management systems are discussed, focused on Nimrod-G grid resource management system; furthermore, a gird resource trading management algorithm is offered; Then, a new time cost optimization algorithm is presented based on the classical price optimization and time optimization algorithms. We also offered an algorithm which balanced the price optimization and time optimization algorithms.Finally, with the help of GridSim toolkit, we emulated our algorithms. The results show that the new time price algorithm is feasible. It decreases the price and don't change the time algorithm's time. And the balance algorithms have some apply prospects.
