| Presently, the flat panel display (FPD) technology, such as LCD, PDP, OLED, SED, gets a huge development, especially LCD and PDP application. LCD gets a rapid development with overcoming narrow angle of view, low brightness, slow response, etc defect. LCD TV gains high praises for its advantages, such as low EMI, wide angle of view, high contrast, high quality of colors and style appearance. LCD TV has gradually evolved into a mainstream product in place of CRT TV.This LCD TV is a high-end Full HD product for Europe market. The video process module is based on FLI8548, a member of Cortez series which is the newest FPD TV solution from Genesis. The audio process module is based on SGTV5830, a audio processor from Sigmatel. The LCD TV can connect with most audiovisual by signal interface, such as RF, two SCART, component, VGA and HDMI. The LCD TV can process teletext and WSS signal, and support channel label and auto sorting by processing VBI signal. The VGA port can support up to 1280x1024 resolution while YPbPr and HDMI port can support up to 1080p resolution. With friendly graphics UI, The LCD TV with full HD panel facilitates the user to select system function or adjust configuration, which accords with the requirement of Europe TV user.This thesis is a summarization on my work. First, it describes the developing course of television , the theory of LCD display technology , advantages of LCD and the contrast of the current mainstream .Then the feature of requirement of Europe TV-set is analyzed to clear the object of the systematic design. Meanwhile, this paper tells the designing theory about hardware and the feature of primary chip adopted. Last, it describes the flow of software design and the structure of software system and expounds realization of some module. |
