The urban underground pipelines system is one important part of the city's infrastructure construction,it is indispensable to our city and life. The undergroundpipe system is mainly in charge of the information transmission and energy transmission. It is just like the nerves and veins of the city. It is so important that it can be called the lifeline of the city. The people in the city can not live without the undergroundpipe system and so the city's development. The undergroundpipe system guarantees the high efficiency and high quality of the modern city's work.Along with the increase of the number of the underground pipes, the daily construction always destroys the underground pipes, and the proplems are more and more. For example, when people did some underground operations, they always broke the underground pipes. Sometimes,they even broke the optical communication cables. In order to reduce the loss, we must provide the plan of the undergroundpipe system to the people who did the underground operation. The research of the drawing the undergroundpipe system plan is speak volumes to the city's goverment manages the undergroundpipe system and it is also provide convenience to the people who live in the city.The main body of this article expounds how to make a software. The software is used to draw the undergroundpipe system plan. The first part of this article is the skeleton construction of the software. The other parts are the realizes of the skeleton construction. We should build a database first, then input the coordinates of the pipes' inflexions. After this, we need build a MFC project in VC6.0 development environment, the program can read the data in the database which we built, and then the program can draw the plan in the window, that we can see the plan of the undergroundpipe system. The technical essentials have: the building of the database(Access database), link the database in our program, edit the data in the program, draw the plan after edit the data, splitting the window and let the under window show the datasheet's content, so we not only can see the plan but also the data of the plan. We also need to make sure the plan can be enlarged and reduced that we can see the plan clearer. At last, we use OpenGL technique to draw the three dimensional picture of the undergroundpipe system. To realize all the last functions, we need study the how to use MFC to write program in VC6.0. We also should grasp the frame of axes and the usage of the OpenGL in VC6.0. We must konw how to control the three dimensional picture. The last part is the summary of our work, what the leftover problems and the possible resolvents.
