Based On The System Of SiteWeaver^TM College Portals Construction

Along with the wide application of computer network and multimedia technology, the network on campus has become infrastructure and necessary conditions in universities. Based on the campus network in university, the information management has become more and more comprehensive, more and more teaching, administrative management will be based on the network, therefore the website in university is becoming the indispensable platform for teaching, scientific research and management.Since the business school of Shehezi university incorporated into Shihezi university, the portal system based on the static page has not adapt to the new applications because of the high speed of consecution in this college, and the leaders in this college have decided to develop their own information platform, which should be fit for their need and future development of modern universities. And the platform will realize equipment management system, educational administration system, book management system, etc., these information management systems in the network will be integrated. The goal is to push the school's teaching and office work into overall information and digitalnation, in order to solve the problem, college has set up special project in 2006.The author of this thesis entrusted by the college, as the manager of the project, he has participated the project's demand survey ,needs analysis, the outline and design of project implementation and some detail design work.This paper introduces the basic situation of college campus network, and describes the topological structure and related technology, etc., mainly based on the description of the system of Site Weaver^? college portals development process. Papers for college portal system need analysis, system design, detailed information management, safety measures, popularization and application of such a detailed analysis and content.
