The general high-speed data radio which gives priority to data operation, is the new generation of ultrashort tactical radio with simultaneous transmission function of both data and voice, mainly utilized as tactical internet backbone. It has multi-operation modes such as point to point transmission, relatively intensive capability of anti-jamming, self-organization, and self-heal, as well as transmitting information with relatively high speed in the moving circumstance on the battlefield.Research and design for the receiver of general high-speed data radio was discussed. This item passed the design finalizing examination, after more than three years efforts. It adopted the wireless software designing and advanced digital processing technology, which realized multi-operation modes in the same platform and possessed relatively powerful anti-jamming means. Also it provided with upper performance index, reliability, and maintainability, as well as the relatively powerful applicability and flexibility.In this paper, situation and developing trend was analyzed, of the same kind of communication equipment overseas recently; the integrated technological proposal of the radio was also demonstrated and analyzed. The structure of heterodyne software radio was used in the channel part, processing project on the basis of digital up/down frequency conversion was used in digital intermediate frequency, TCM project was adopted in modulation and demodulation, FH system was utilized in anti-jamming; Demonstration and analysis for the project of the receiver was emphasized, meanwhile analog radio frequency part, digital hardware platform, digital intermediate Frequency proposal were also demonstrated; both hardware and software designing proposal was instituted according to the demonstration; Key technologies were analyzed, such as rapid Tuning technology front-end and Fast AGC during the designing process of the receiver, solution was also proposed. A stable foundation was made for the realization of research and development target of the radio, on the base of the achievements of this paper.
