Design And Realization Of Communication Control Platform Based On Broad Band Satellite Communication System

Satellite mobile communication is the part of modern communication technology, and is also the component of the method that realizing global personal communication. Recently, broad band mobile satellite communication systems become one of the main research fields of satellite communication technologies. With the rapid development of embedded technology, mobile communications system has also become the current focus of the study. Therefore to combine the mobile terminal equipment and broadband satellite and the application of the aspect of communication which communicate through the satellite network is worth to be researching. Then with the advantages of broadband satellite communications platform , mobile terminals with the central control server integrating into a system enable the centre control server to dispatch mobile terminals command anytime and anywhere. Its application in the fire safety, traffic safety, safety in production, public health emergencies, flood control, earthquake relief, urban utilities untoward incidents, incidents such as emergency command of fields has important social significance.Firstly, the point of this paper is to design the communication platform that provide a unified interface for the upper applications between mobile terminals and broad band satellite terminals ,and to realize it. Secondly, in this paper, it integrated mobile terminals and a central control server into a system, designed and realized the application mode of satellite system of integrated command. Finally, in order to making the system communication more secure, the paper designed a mobile terminals connected request Login Control Center server mode, once connected, it will create a session key, and all the communications of the upper system application processes must go through this session key. The entire system used Windows CE as embedded operating system, used Visual Studio2005 as software development tools, applied ideas and theories of Software Engineering, combined with the broadband satellite terminals—BGAN, used TCP / IP protocol and Winsock network programming interface, developed the communication platform based on broadband satellite communications. Lastly, in view of the shortcomings of TCP / IP protocol in satellite communication, this paper proposed the improvement measures. The system through the final tests, and achieved the expected results.
