Design And Realization Of Communication Platform Based On Broad Band Satellite Communication System

With the rapid development of communication and embedded technology, Communication system which is integrated with mobile terminals, is becoming more and more popular. With the accomplishment of satellite communication technology, the business and industry developed continuously, by far, only a few satellites can cover mostly parts of the world. Mobile terminal can easily connect to network through satellite, and transmit immediately. It is of great meaning of realize the communication system combined with the satellite and construct the command system, which integrate the advantage of satellite communication ,use it as the information exchange platform for the mobile terminals and the centre control server, and complete the transmission of documents, audio and video.This paper focuses on designing and implementing of the communication platform based on satellite communication. Mainly including how to build the platform for the communication of mobile terminals and centre control server. First of all, the paper analyses the communication technology, embedded technology and the situation of the research about satellite technology at present of native and overseas. Then it introduces the characteristics and the application of the technology about broad band satellite communication, the principle about how dose the satellite terminals work, communication standard, primary characteristics etc. Finally, the paper provides the integer design of communication platform which based on the broad band satellite communicate system. Windows CE is used as the operation system, and the VS2005 is used as the software develop tool, We also using BGAN to develop the communication platform based on broad band satellite communication system . The system implements the domination to the satellite from both the mobile terminals and center control server, which can also connect to the Internet through the communicational link layers built by the broad band satellite. This can provide the network interface to other application programs, and to let the communication between mobile terminal and center control server come true. The article emphases how does mobile terminal and center control server register satellite and build the communication link layers. At the end of the article, it explains the problems of using the TCP/IP protocol as the platform and how to solve the problems when connection with the broad band satellite .After the finally test, the system can achieve the anticipated purpose.
