Mobile Identification System (MIS) can collect information of a moving target through equipment such as sensors and GPS. The information about a moving target-position, velocity, attitude, etc., can be transmitted through digital radio with other moving targets, so that we can effectively organize the campaign of Moving Targets and prevent collisions accident between the moving targets. Therefore, the MIS system can be widely used in vehicle navigation, marine navigation, accurate tracking of moving target and other fields.MIS system is mainly composed of four parts:VHF Transceiver,Baseband Processing Unit,ARM Central Processing Unit and System Power Management Unit.This paper describes and designs Baseband Processing Unit,which is to complete the data GMSK Modem,the FSK signal transmitting and receiving,together with the HDLC protocol.This paper also describes the planning and design for the DC power supplies of MIS system,and based on the special requirements of the system to the DC power and the general considerations, LM2676 and LM2678 switching chips were used in the design. It produced the power to satisfy the needs of all parts of the circuit through the DC-DC converter to the input 24v power of the system.The paper is mainly completes these three partial hardware circuit design of baseband information processing unit, ARM central processing unit and the system power source management unit . Finally, we design the PCB,debug the various part of circuits and the whole system, give the test profile, and the result is quit ideal.
