With the high-speed development of the electronic information technology and Internet technology, the embedded system has already become the focus of current IT communication industry, and more and more embedded devices reflect the network, intelligence and real-time features, this has undoubtedly put forward higher requirement to the embedded operating system. The appearance of Windows CE can meet this kind of the modernized embedded devices'needs well, it has a modular design, excellent portability, good communication capability and improved real-time feature.This paper exactly research on porting of embedded Windows CE system based on EP9315 processor. First, the general concepts of the embedded system, including definition, characteristic and developing history of Windows CE are introduced in this paper. Then the key features of Windows CE, development procedure and development tools are described. Later this thesis introduces the EP9315 hardware platform architecture, how to port the reference BSP to EP9315 hardware platform, including the Boot Loader, OAL, development of drivers and profiles. Finally, the details of how to create, customize, build, download, and debug a Windows CE image to the EP9315 hardware platform are discussed.
