| The Information Retrieval system is one important kind of daily use software system , it changes with every day , and its quality assurance is the key of system success . Testing is the effective important method for this purpose . Using one kind of testing model is an inevitable choice to instruct this kind of software testing . The widely used testing models such as V model , X model , W model , H model and TMM are general ones , they do not lean to reflect the characteristic of IR system , and cannot carry on the pointed testing to the new technology which are used in the develop . With a deeper research on the characteristic of IR system , combining the evaluated criterions and measures of the TREC organization for IR system , referring to the every popular testing model , this paper addresses a novel testing model which aims at IR system , and analyzes the predominance and use pattern of this model , then expatiates on how to use it in the SQASearch project . |
