Design And Implementation Of Automated Testing System Base On Content Management

With software technology and information technology rapid develop, software is to provide social services more and more, the software quality begin to cause the attention of people. Under such a background, how to effectively improving software quality and reliability, enterprises must face this challenges. Software testing is an important and effective means to insure the quality of software, in the traditional manual testing can't meet the current test requirements, automation testing technology quietly formation.The goal is to use regression testing theory, combined with enterprise content management business rules, using scripting language and object-oriented technique, design an automated testing system to test content management software features on the server side. The meaning of the research is to running the test code according to schedule, reduce the workload which manual testing, so as to improve software quality and reliability.Through the research for content management architecture, working characteristics and testing principle, analyses the technical problems when design the automation testing. Based on the analysis, design and realize an automation testing system, and developed automation test cases. With smoke testing and regression testing as an example, introduces the system's practical application and economic effect. The results showed that automation testing reduces the testing resource costs and the workload which manual testing, to a certain extent, ensure the quality of the software, reducing potential defects.
