With the rapid development and widely usage of mobile telecommunication, People's requirement of performance and security of networks has become more and more rigorous. The traditional way that upgrading hardware to improve application's performance can not match the requirement. Good network planning and optimization are more important. Therefore the aim of network planning and optimization is to maximize the economic efficiency..Because the network planning and optimization is a developing technology, there exist a lot of problems to be solved which involving many aspects. If only Simply using artificial methods to solve this problems the difficult inevitably can not be overcome with the network subscriber growth.So it is necessary to develop a network optimization tool to improve the efficiency and quality of network operation based on the Network Optimization theory .In the first part of this paper the workflow of traditional GSM wireless network planning and Optimization is shown, and its weaknesses are pointed out. After analyzing and synthesizing the theories and techniques of planning and optimazing network, a distributed network planning and optimazing tools is used , and a model based on ICE is proposed. In the second part of this paper, the performance specifications, working principle, architecture of the model are discussed in all details, and its main modules of network planning and Optimization are also involved. Finally ,based on the combination of the theory and practice, the application of the model in network planning and optimazing is given in details. |
