The study of underwater acoustic communication network(UACN) is hotspot of current marine development.The study objective of this paper bases on the development project underwater acoustic communication network simulation software(UACNSS), devoted to implement network layer and physical layer module.The design of routing protocol is core part of network layer, table-driven routing protocol and on-demand routing protocol is introduced in the paper, through comparing their characteristics, and combining with underwater acoustic channel characteristics, UACNSS network layer table-driven routing protocol is designed, and UACNSS network layer function is implemented. The physical layer module includes channel coding and decoding part, modulation and demodulation part. Channel coding technology is one of the key technologies in the implement of low bit error rate and covert communication, channel coding method and MC-MFSK modulation is discussed, RS code and convolutional code algorithm is implemented in the software as well as 1/4 MFSK Hadamard MFSK and FH-MFSK modulations.Through software testing, the routing protocol designed in this paper can implement UACNSS network layer module function such as route setup, route update and route maintenance; the MC-MFSK modulation and channel coding technology used in the software can implement physical layer module function such as channel coding and modulation.
