With the rapid development of electronic information technology, radar is becoming more and more important in modern local wars. Several modern local wars show that Anti-Radiation Missile(ARM) , which discovers, tracks and annihilates radar systems using radiant electromagnetic wave form radar, has become the main threat that modern radar facing today. So the problem of anti-radiation missile countermeasure is always the important subject of radar designers.The working principle and attacking process of anti-radiation weapon, and the limitations of modern ARM are discussed in this paper. The technology and the theory of cheating ARM by dual-point non-coherent active decoy systems are presented in detail. The direction-finding system of phase-amplitude-comparison which widely used by Passive Radar Seeker(PRS)is modeled and simulated in several direction-finding systems. The direction finding characteristic was deduced in different conditions, Single point source and dual-point source in different parameters direction finding characteristic was deduced and verified by simulation.Method of cheating ARM by dual-point non-coherent active decoy systems is proposed by thoroughly taking use of the limitations of the direction-finding system of phase-amplitude-comparison. Optimum conditions of cheating are analyzed detailed. The decoying theories study, parameters analysis and digital simulation have been carried out as well as the techniques realization in this paper. In the end, an excellent cheating scheme is given by the computer simulation of active decoy systems and the theory analysis.
