| Navigation is a way to guide a carrier from departure point to its destination. An inertial navigation system is a self contained system which does not need any external information. In order to promote the INS from military to civilian areas of the field, it is necessary to design and develop a new type of inertial navigation equipment with low cost, small size, super performance.This paper presents a design based on the PC104 inertial navigation computer design. Focus on the development of embedded PC technology, a new high-performance embedded PC104 chip used in inertial navigation system. In the system of CPLD technology, the current selection of the relatively high cost CPLD chip, allowing the system to the hardware circuit design more flexible, more powerful, not to change the hardware circuit in the circumstances. It provided a possibility to upgrade the system.According to the program design acceleration of the inertial navigation system and sampling board navigation computer's hardware structure of the circuit. Acceleration signal acquisition in the circuit, the use of VHDL hardware description language design a reversible counter, the counter is latched structure, allowing the counting of the computer to read the data. In addition, the use of CPLD chip logic control through rational design of the interface, coordination of work between different operating order, so as to solve the PC104 chip peripheral circuits more complex issues.The paper will be embedded PC104, CPLD technology, and other emerging electronic technologies in inertial navigation computer. The test results show that the system, based on the design of embedded PC104 computer navigation achieve small size, low cost, high-performance requirements, basically meet inertial navigation systems to application requirements. |
