Motion Control Technology is the pivotal constituent part of Mechatronics Technology, it has been widely applied along with the rapid developpment of Mechatronics Technology. Some new motion control products emerge in succession , such as controller, actuator, transmission mechanism and detecting elements and so on. Motion Control means mainly the computer control of mechanical gearing, which is to say, to make the mechanical moving component move according to the prescribed track and movement parameters by controlling and managing its position and speed . Nowadays, a new research direction has been turned to the combination of Motion Control and Network Technology, a telecontrol of Motion Control System can be realized by the transmission of movement parameters and motion states, which can meet the needs of multiuser from other places and therefore is a good solution of the problems of lack in hardware resource, it plays an important role specially in teleeducation and industrial control.This paper mainly carries on the introduction to Motion Control and Telecontrol Technology, analyses their development directions and application domains, and then proposed the overall plan and the design frame of the control system. The system takes the MPC02 Motion Controller as the main controller, regards AC servo motor as the functional elements to control the milling motion, and the real time control function in LAN is carried out by the help of TCP/IP.The paper introduces the software system design of the telecontrol of numerical control milling system in detail: the control of MPC02 motion controller to AC servo motor is achieved by introducing DLL technique; the telecontrol is based on TCP/IP and realized by utilizing Socket widget of Delphi. The main process can be described in brief as follows: the Client side sends the movement parameters and commands to the Server side to drive the running gear; the Server side sends the motion states returned from the running gear to the Client side for the surveillance of user. The software system has 6 function parts: files management part, parameters setting part, pictures displaying part, communication part, machining management part and states displaying part. These 6 parts cooperate in harmony to finish the processing together.It is indicated that the software system can make sure that any Client side connected in LAN realize real-time, exact and credible telecontrol to the numerical control milling system.
