Internet voice technology is a voice application. Based on voice technology, voice interface technology and web site navigation technology, The design of the voice automatic navigation system based on Internet website is designed.The system uses voice gateway to establish a communication channel between the PSTN and the Internet. The Voice Gateway can also recognize Chinese speech, synthesize feedback information systematically, and then transmit them to the telephone users. The software system applies B/S structure, and utilizes VoiceXML and JSP for development. The system has AUI (Audio User Interface) which uses voice command for telephone users. The system also has GUI/S (Graphical User Interface with Speech) combined with voice command which is still under investigation. GUI/S supports both graphical and audio interface. It is a simple multimodal interface. Visitors can view the website by using a keyboard or a mouse, or they can just use telephone/voice command to communicate with the website. Visitors can use telephone in dialogue manner to obtain the Website information. Visitors can use telephone voice command in accordance with specific rules to switch between Website pages, they can know their position through the voice command and obtain the help from the system; so in this way, the system provides visitors the easy manner which is voice command to help visitors get support information.This article provides voice navigation example through the website model, and validates the feasibility of the system.
