With the development of Internet and embedded technology, it is the definite tendency that the combination of network technology and embedded system will be applied to military and industrial area. The embedded system, often adopts the manner of multi-level process plus operation system, to reach the aim of large amounts of data acquisition, processing and transmission. It is significant on the research of real-time synchronization in multi-channel and real-time communication in multi-level of communication system. Based on this background, this article firstly introduced the basic knowledge of embedded Linux system: including embedded processor, embedded operating system, the debug environment of embedded Linux and its development flow. Then this article analyses the critical technology of communication system between levels of embedded system, and researches real time performance of Linux. Then bringing up a feasible scheme of the multi-level and multi-channel controlling system, with the method of task decomposition, in this scheme, complex tasks are divided into real-time task and non real-time one, which are dealt with by RTLinux dual kernel. In this way, the real-time performance of communication system is realized, and this scheme can also be applied to huge image acquisition equipment successfully.
