This paper mainly engages in the methods of detection and imaging of moving targets with Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR), especially for slow moving targets in severe scatter background. This is the main purpose to this dissertation.1. The dissertation investigates the model of moving target echoes, and discusses in detail the effect of moving target on the conventional SAR image.2. The dissertation introduces the principle of along-track interferometry and the configuration of antennas. Subsequently, ground moving target detection algorithms with along-track interferometry are studied in both Range-Doppler domain and image domain, and analyze performance parameters of AT-InSAR system including blind velocity, minimum detectable velocity and so on. Finally, the arithmetic is validated with numerical experiment on simulated data.3. On the basis of first-order statistical properties of interferometric phase, The dissertation introduces the formula of evaluating the detection probability and false alarm rate, and then analyze the effect of the signal to clutter ratio (SCR), the clutter to noise ratio (CNR), clutter coherence and moving target radial velocity in the detection process. Finally, based on maximum likelihood estimation technique, we propose a new method for the recovering of the radial velocity, and evaluate the Cramer-Rao Lower Bound (CRLB) for the velocity estimation.4. a Multi-Channel along-track interferometric configuration, allowing to recover moving target radial velocity, is introduced. Based on multi-channel along-track interferometry, the dissertation proposes a novel approach for ground moving target detection and analyzes the performance of multi-channel interferometeric SAR/GMTI scheme. Finally, by the interferometric information from the construct of multi-baseline the speed of ground moving target can be calculated without ambiguity.
