As a kind of high resolution imaging radar, synthetic aperture radar (SAR) has been widely used in many remote sensing fields. In military application, SAR is of great value in obtaining forepart stratagems and battlefield conditions. So it is terribly essential to study the methods of jamming to SAR. In this thesis, two methods of active deception jamming to SAR, false target jamming and rebound jamming, are mainly studied. In the preface to the article, the catalog and the present situation of SAR jamming are introduced. The contents of this paper are outlined.Chapter 2 deals with the ground echo signal of SAR, and establishes the signal models of static target and moving target.Chapter 3 studies the false target jamming. Jamming signal generation formula is proposed by the investigation of simultaneous ground echoes of two different point targets in radar beam. Comprehensive research about the characteristics of jamming signal is made, and raw data is used in simulation.Chapter 4 proposes two false target jamming detection schemes by dual-aperture antenna along-track and cross-track interferometric SAR, which are based on moving target detection technique and spatial cancellation algorithm. Each kind of schemes is discussed with its applicability in details and validated by point target simulation.Chapter 5 treats rebound jamming with its basic principle .Characteristics of jamming signal and jamming effect are analyzed. Space-borne radar parameters are used in simulation. Base on the doppler frequency of rebound jamming signal, along-track interferometric detection scheme, which is proposed in chapter 4, is employed to detect point target rebound jamming in simulation, and the results validate the feasibility of this kind detection scheme. At last, a detailed comparison between rebound jamming and false target jamming is made.Chapter 6 summarizes the whole work of this thesis and points out the problems to be solved in the future.
