With the advances in technology, as a fingerprint biometric technology has beenimproving, more and more people's attention and importance, not only the future of personalidentification an important part of its community in various fields, such as , Public security,armed forces, customs, transport, finance, industry and social security departments have awide range of applications.A fingerprint identification system including fingerprint image extraction (acquisition),and pre-feature extraction and matching, and so on, and fingerprint image feature extractionand pre-recognition system as a whole is at the core of this article introduced the system tofingerprint identification technology and Application of research on the establishment of afingerprint identification system and the need for significance, a Matlab tool used to solve thefingerprint identification technology approach, that is, through Matalb of CASIA fingerprintimage database extraction, partition, as well as the characteristics of the pre - Extraction, tomake full use of Matlab tool advantages: single-cylinder grammar, to learn, easy; a strongcomputing and graphics capabilities; there is a strong and diverse range of databases availabletoolbox, including this paper is closely related to the image toolbox; On a series of imagestaken to deal with.This article describes a set of Matlab based on the realization of the details of thefingerprint feature extraction methods, and gives the false and algorithms. Matlab simulation of automatic fingerprint identification system in future research,you can add image acquisition equipment, add the Spartan 3E development board to completea full automatic fingerprint identification system, making it a more comprehensive, practical,strong fingerprint identification products;2. The fingerprint method also continue in-depth study, in a timely manner to theintroduction of more advanced fingerprint recognition technology;3. Automatic Fingerprint Identification System in far more applications, but because ofexpensive equipment or devices such as a variety of complex reasons, can not be universalaccess to a large area, the development of small portable mass fingerprint identificationdevice applications is urgent.4. Automatic Fingerprint Identification System Application vast prospects in the future inthe development of public security, armed forces, customs, transport, finance, social security,medical and other civilian and security control, and other industry sectors need to cooperate tofind the application of space.
