Facing the intense market competition, the primary strategy of enterprises in modern manufacture industry is to use the new advanced manufacturing technology, which combined manufacturing technology with information technology,automatization technology,management technology and systems science and technology. Many enterprises implemented Enterprise Resource Planning System(ERP),Product Data Manager System(PDM),Process Control System(PCS), etc, which do play great important roles in their networked manufacture and paperless management. But unfortunately all these systems can't connect the management layer and the workshop. To solve this problem, enterprises introduced Manufacturing Execution System(MES), they want to integrate and interact informations by it.MES emphasises on the execution of the plan, it builds a bridge of communication between management layer and the workshop. MES could transmit informations among all layers of enterprise by using the information synchronizing technology to guarantee data consistency and betimes of central database and all sub-databases, so all layers could share their resources. At present time, most enterprises uses their own custom-built synchroniz protocols, different systems,different equipments,different databases are likely to use different protocols in different networks, they could't understand each other, and it is hard to transmit informations among them.That't why we introduce syncML protocol in this paper, which supplies a open,standard method to transmit informations among different platforms,different networks and different applications. syncML absorbs the advantages of other synchronizing technologies, using XML in its content framework, and offers a complete set of mechanism of information exchange,fault handling and recovery. It is becoming the mainstream of synchronizing technology gradually.Based on the research of MES, this paper analyses the synchronizing requirement in workshop, and validates the necessity and feasibility of the development of information synchronization. Then, after some deep research on syncML protocols, it describes the content,representation format,synchronizing process of the SyncML detailedly, and designs a synchronizing model. Subsequently, the relative key technologies concerning to this model(including message encoding, decoding, data identifier mapping, usage of sync anchors, exchange of device capabilities, change log information security, etc) are studied, the solutions and main interfaces are provided. After that, with reference to the conflicts which unable to avoid, according to their different types, paper puts forward a solution based on data's priority. Finally, the model was successfully applied in "Multimedia Machining Teaching and Real-time Info Post System".
