Application Of Complex Event Processing In Distributed System

With the fast development of Internet nowadays, all sorts of terminal appear, and make the network generate many sub networks, which we call Heterogeneous Networks. And it is difficult to face such complex environment in a distributed network. This thesis makes use of Complex Event Processing (CEP) technology to resolve this kind of problem.The thesis firstly describes the necessity and background of CEP, and summarizes the existing state of that technology, analyses the existing problems and drawbacks in traditional distributed system, compares the differences among the present network, the old one and the future one, suggest a solution that making use of CEP Technology to design a new better system. This thesis introduces the principium and application about CEP, analyses the algorithm and performance of CEP by mathematics tool, Event Algebra, and make it the base for designing systems. CEP theory abstracts the changes in our circumstance into events, then classifies them into primitive events and composite events, and describes the complex logic and huge data of the existing states, and resolves algorithm issues. Then the thesis concludes that distributed system is better when applying CEP technology into it by take a case of Medical Care system. After analyzing the key points of designing distributed system, design a new distributed system by dint of CEP technology, and make this system more general and stronger.Adopting CEP technology can make the traditional distributed system logically simpler, more expressive and clearer.
