The major research of the thesis are based on the network event database and configuration management database(CMDB), focuses in events management , and then, with the actual demand of event management design to achieve a very efficient, proactive, automated network event handling system of the enterprise.The research of the thesis focuses in network events adopting, pre-handle, association, abundance, showing, other automated processing (totaling 6 aspects). The event adopting has the SYSLOG,ICMP/SNMP Polling function; The event pre-handle complete the design of database architecture and the definition of rules file; The event abundance research focuses in conjunction between events and configuration management database (CMDB), the LAN port abundance, WAN port abundance, ICMP Ping, etc; The event correlation research focuses in that how to use Rule-based Reasoning and Topological model-based Reasoning correlation method to implement the event compression, filtering, source analysis and automatic classification etc; The events showing research Mainly to the active event list window, supplemented by the presentation of logical monitor plans that matched all user's habits, so that the level of events and the color of view can directly reflect the business impact of the incident; Other automated processing achieves the function of incidents voice / SMS / e-mail alerts, warning the escalation of incidents of overtime, failure data automatically saved at the scene, important events such as auto-forwarding function, but also to achieve networks Incident manual processing tools, such as the PING / TELNET / TRACE / performance plans.
