Pulsed power is attached importance to the application for the future launch vehicles and new concept weapons. Superconducting technology applied in pulsed power apparatuses such as energy storage magnet, pulsed transformer, switch, inductive device and coils would be very promising. In this dissertation, based on Bi-2223/Ag high temperature superconductor (HTS) magnet, the feasibility of a HTS high-power pulsed delay line and the pulse output circuits of HTS magnet are researched.The delay line is a important application of transmission line, it can delay importing signal for some times with least distortion. In this paper ,the author firstly represented the basal theores of transmission line ,than presented three schemes of HTS pulsed delay line: superconducting coaxial cable, inductance enhanced cable and artificial line. At last ,the artificial line scheme is selected by comparing analysis, and than the simulation model is eatabled in MATLAB. Based on simulation results,the author carried out some experiments, analysed experimental results,and obtained usable conclusions.Secondly, the author studied the pulse output circuits of HTS magnet. The waveform that is formed by releasing energy directly is with lower energy. At the same time, if the switch acting time that control magnet discharging is too long , than the wavefront-time is effected by the switch acting time. Pointed to these problems, the author presented a scheme based on pulse transformer: taking pulse transformer as step-down and up-flow tool, using semiconductor switch IGBT to control magnet dischargeing.The wave of HTS magnet direct discharging is relevant to not only loads but also mode of connection(in series and in parallel).So the author presented pulse output scheme of one HTS inductance and pulse output scheme of two HTS inductances. The simulation model is eatabled in MATLAB and the results is obtained.At last, based on simulation analysis, the author designed the control system of IGBT based on 51 microcontroller by Protel and carried out experiments, the better pulse wave of loads is obtained.Through these studies,the keys to the pulse forming technology based on SMES is identified. The results are also important for HTS applied in power systems.
