Research Of IMAGE Pyramid Modeling Based On Memory Mapping File

With the development of remote sensing satellite and technology,the data obtained from remote sensing is more and more. Especially with the application of high resolution sensor ,it make the remote sensing data is grown geometrically .In order to save and Processing these massive data in time ,it request more requirement to the application software and hardware's performance. The function of browsing remote sensing image is one of integrant in many GIS software. The remote sensing image is always very large ,the image which the system display is always a small part of the massive remote sensing image data, as the remote sensing image is always massive and it's characteristic of saving in row ,when display the image generally, we need not load the whole image into memory . Because the display part in the whole image is not saved continuously, when display the image, the system goes with frequent pointer movement, especially when go with a mass of sampling calculate, the image display will become very slowly, so as to infection the performance of the system.From the perspective of reducing the time of pointer's movement when reading the data, predigesting sampling calculating and the data transfer in memory, using image pyramid technology and memory mapping file, the thesis studied how to realize the Image pyramid modeling and transferring image block in memory. it gave the file structures and memory structure which will help the system search or read the data rapidly . These two structure provide the foundation for the system realizing display massive image rapidly, it is signification for browsing the massive remote sensing image rapidly. it also described how to set up Image pyramid model and how to realizing image block's transfer in the memory, in the perspective of good performance and practicality. And compared the method of delamination and the method of block-dividing in several, we chose the effective resolution.
