Now, with the rapid development of remote sensing technology, massive remote sensing image data has been used in various fields. The research of massive remote sensing image data has been paid more and more attention by people.Seeing that the quality of conventional image can not meet the experience of the visualization of 3D terrain and conventional images of the public can not satisfy the public visual effect.Therefore, it is an urgent problem to realize 3D visualization of remote sensing images and image enhancement.National surveying and mapping geographic information service satellite mapping application center project construct Resources satellite three(ZY-3) application system project. The production subsystem of special subject product is one of the subsystems of "image processing and application subsystem", which is one of the 8 development software subsystems that are included in the ZY-3 satellite application system project.The research content of this paper is a part of the production subsystem of the special subject product. This thesis aiming at resources 3 satellite products to produce thematic maps of slope and aspect products combine DEM elevation data to show the three-dimensional model of production resources Three thematic programs produced vegetation index, combined with the original data, enhanced display.The main work in this thesis contain several aspect.Firstly, collecting and analyzing user needs to complete the demand analysis and overall design of 3D enhancement and image processing module for ZY-3 satellite project. Secondly,the DEM data is processed by the method of maximum value minimum tension and bilinear interpolation, and the related method is called XNA,and eventually Finalized a three-dimensional display modules. Finally, calling GDAL third-party libraries and using the standardmethod of stretching difference is a method to deal with vegetation index, and the calculation results with the vegetation index(Ⅵ) in place of the green band resources 3 satellite images(Band2), in accordance with the RGB(red band– green band- blue band) combinations showed outstanding vegetation coverage area, reaching image enhancement purposes, complete the image enhancement module.Through the research of the above main work,on one hand the ZY-3 satellite products produced by the three-dimensional visualization of products has been realized,and create an intuitive, visual, image, long angle, multi-level simulation of real terrain areas, terrain and landscape three-dimensional scene. On the other hand it achieves the production of ZY-3 satellite thematic products to enhance the image and realize the purpose of vegetation coverage area enhanced display.
