End of the 20th century to the beginning of this century, the rapid development of information technology and computer network technology promotes the transition of the traditional experimental teaching to the virtual experimental based on Web3D. Many domestic and foreign universities and research institutions are exploring and practicing the network virtual experimental teaching. Virtual experimental teaching based on network is a supplement to experimental teaching, which is the same as the real experiment, requiring students observing the rules of the real experiment, and the matter attended. However, teachers and students can not communicate face to face as the traditional experimental teaching because of the characteristics of the network teaching which is the separation of space and time, and teachers can not supervise students in the course of the experiment. It is necessary to monitor the students'experiments remotely through technique means, in order to allow teachers to grasp the state of students'experiments in time and to give specific guidance, thus ensuring that experimental teaching goals.The theory of distance education interactive influence and control brought by Garrison provides a theoretical basis for the design and development of the monitoring system of virtual experimental teaching. The core view of the theory is that learner control is the core of the interaction and the assurance of the teaching quality in the interactive influence and control of teachers and learners. Teachers in the network virtual experimental teaching can use a variety of instructional strategies. Coaching strategy put forward by Jonathan is a satisfactory way of virtual experimental teaching. Coaching strategy is that when learners have difficulties or need help in the learning processes, the system can diagnose timely and give appropriate guidance, advice, hints and feedback.It is necessary to provide monitoring, diagnostic tools for the platform of virtual experimental teaching, in order to support teachers in the activities of virtual experimental teaching. The monitoring system of virtual experimental teaching involves virtual experiment design, development of Web dynamic pages and database and other technologies. The ways of developing virtual experiment projects, the technologies of the development of virtual experiments chose, as well as back-end server technology can all have a direct impact on the design and development of virtual experiment and teaching monitoring system, or even determine the success of projects. The monitoring system of virtual experimental teaching consists of students-side virtual experiment module, the students-side data acquisition modules, server-side data storage modules, server-side data-processing modules and monitoring of teachers teaching in-side module. Data of learning activities in the virtual laboratory is collected in real-time, and delivered to the server, and the Web server has been treated to save the database. The data collection side monitored is the core function of the system, which will provide basis and data support for further teaching evaluation. In order to make more scientific and effective data collection, the thesis designs the system of virtual experiment teaching evaluation index, and classifies and processes the data.The interactive process of virtual experiment project visualized can come true by using Virtools tool, the developing process of which is simple, efficient, and the three-dimensional products of which is interactive powerfully. Compared with other Web3D technology, the technology has great advantages. Virtual experimental teaching monitoring system must consider how to collect the data of students in a virtual experimental and upload it to the Web server. Ajax DWR technology achieves the process of asynchronous communication of the Web pages in an extremely simple way, and resolves the problem that it can not continue the experiment because Web3D virtual experiment and the Web servers need to refresh the page interactive result.As one of the sub-projects of the virtual experiment based on Web3D, the study aimed at improving the supporting system of network virtual experimental teaching platform and assist teachers in launching virtual experimental teaching. From a technical point of view, it is to explore methods and means on virtual experimental teaching monitoring system based on Web 3D, with a hope that it can provide reference for design and development of other network virtual experimental teaching monitoring system.
