Chinese Museum Of Ethnology In The Context Of Cultural Diversity

With the development of globalization and cultural diversity crisis, Chinese Museum of Ethnology has become the cultural center from the institution of culture which is responsible for collection, display and study. Now Chinese Museum of Ethnology is the cultural center of dealing with protecting, transmitting and managing material culture and intangible culture. "Harmony in Diversity" is a concept searching for the harmony dialogue and sharing concepts, in order to develop the culture. In modern times, Chinese Museum of Ethnology should use the concept "Harmony in Diversity" to solve problems and take the responsibility of cultural diversity protection.This dissertation contains three parts, introduction, main text, and conclusion. The main text is made up of three chapters. In chapter 1, this text mainly discusses the definition and state analysis of Chinese Museum of Ethnology. In chapter 2, the text introduces cultural diversity under the globalization and Chinese Museum of Ethnology development opportunity. In chapter 3, we will discuss three problems in Museum of Ethnology and how to solve these problems from the "Harmony in Diversity" point of view.
