Design And Implementation Of Enterprise Application Integration Platform For TDC

The domestic enterprises information implementation and promotion has been doing for more than 20 years. Even it has made a great contribution to the growth of the enterprises, but also there are still problems in using information technology. Over the time most applications of a big enterprise were built for different departments and different purposes, it results in the difficulty of information exchange among the applications, named as "Information Islands". EAI (Enterprise Application Integration) is for this problem.The thesis has a background of information construction for Tianjin Dredging Company Ltd (short for TDC). Based on this, the paper designs and develops the TDC EAI platform. First of all, the paper describes the traditional EAI solution and analyses its strength and weakness. Combined with the current technological development, the platform establishes a Web Services-based solution. Web services are used between applications as the basis for information exchange, and WSE is used as a tool to take care of the security of information exchange through SOAP header. This system achieves the following functions: single sign-on subsystem, so users could work in a unified environment; individual subscribe subsystem, fulfilling the need of information integration; data exchange subsystem, to fulfill the applications'information exchanges through the platform; log and announcement sub-system, to provide convenience to the company's management. This platform achieves three levels of integration of enterprise.The system architecture is B/S structure, using .NET to achieve, and it has already been used in TDC. For the business-level integration, we may use ESB, and take SOA as architecture. This could be the expansion of future.
