Design And Implementation Of Safety And Location Track System Based On Symbian OS

With the rapid development of world economy and modern technology, the smart mobile phone development and GPS (Global Positioning Service) technology has become a world focus, and it is a good opportunity to the development of Chinese industry.This paper begins with the introduction of the smart mobile phone's safety, and the emphasis is put upon the analysis of the solution for GPS Tracing and Location, and also upon the objectives of the design, the techniques of general and detail design of system. The system commixes the safety protection and location technology and using GPS technology in mobile phone development that gives a safety service, which is also the innovation of the paper.The system has realized the safety protection, which prevented the SIM card be changed and also could lock and unlock the mobile phone by sending message; realized location and friend location, which could locate himself using GPS technology and Symbian OS Client/Server architecture, and also could get friends location via server, then represent it on the map; realized landmark management, finding the near landmark, which could mark, manage, search the interesting location based on active objects, asynchronous functions technology; realized the trigger service based on location, electro-enclosure, auto alarm and system setting functions are also realized. And some of the functions can be active after register in the server. In this paper, the methods, the arithmetic and the key technology has been introduced in detail.In this paper, the design process with the theoretical and practical projects was combined. It can be used in mobile phone security and tracing, parents taking charge in children, the control of important facility of the company, and personal location service and so on. It is full of commercial value and social value, to service the users more immediately, accurately and efficiently.
