Group decision-making(GDM) is an important research field in decision making analysis, because it has a wide range of practical background in society, economy, management, engineering system and so on. The research on theories and methods for GDM had brought people's wide attention in recent twenty years. With the development of society, decision-making problem is getting more and more complication, more and more widely applied, the research on group decision-making becomes gradually one of hot spots in decision analysis. Some valuable research results have been found in recently years, but it is still faced with new challenges in theory method and application research. In practical group decision-making analysis, decision maker often gives fuzzy linguistic preference information and numerical preference information, so, it is very important to do research for group decision-making analysis method and application based on fuzzy theory, and it has already caused some scholars' attention, however the research on fundamental and method application has been not very mature. Therefore this paper conducts theory and method research respectively to expert assessment level based on fuzzy linguistic preference information and invasion detection product evaluation based on fuzzy theory, the main research works are as follows:(1) With respect to the problem of assessment level of experts, by defining deviation distance matrix between expert and expert group judgment, positive ideal point and negative ideal point of alternative set, an analysis method of expert assessment level based on linguistic assessment matrices form preference information is given according to the size of close degree between expert judgment and ideal point.(2) With respect to the problem of intrusion detection product performance evaluation, a method of intrusion detection product evaluation is given by using AHP hierarchy analysis method, fuzzy theory and fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method.(3) With respect to the problem of group decision-making consistency and inconsistency improvement method, a consistency judgment analysis method and inconsistency improvement method based on numerical decision-making matrices preference information are proposed by defining consistency index between expert and expert group.This paper carries on simulation using hybrid programming between Visual C++ and MATLAB, the simulation results show that the method proposed by this paper is feasible and instructive, and can enhance reliability and accuracy.In the end, the paper summarizes research fruits, simultaneously research limitations and future research work's suggestions are pointed out.
