This paper focuses on the study of phase noise compensation techniques for wireless transmission system based on OFDM, and discusses methods of frequency domain equalization of Chinese Television Terrestrial Transmission Standard.First of all, a brief introduction to the development history, application and basic characters of OFDM technique is given, followed by the basic conception of phase noise. Then after a detailed analysis of the effects of phase noise on OFDM signals, which consist of two parts: CPE and ICI, a new algorithm to suppress CPE and ICI is proposed, which is adopted in TDS-OFDM system with the aid of PN sequence. Meanwhile, an algorithm using loop filter is discussed to reduce the influence of channel estimation error which introduces phase unbalance in different sub-carriers. By theory analysis, the affectivity and feasibility of these algorithms are compared with simulation. The performances of the proposed algorithms are analyzed and the simulation results show that the proposed algorithms are robust under different channels. Finally, the frequency domain equalization and phase noise compensation module of DTMB system is successfully implemented with verilog language. |
