A study on comprehensively evaluating the electromagnetic compatibility for a vehicular communication system is made in this paper, which has an important significance in theory and engineering application.Firstly, the transfer equation for interfering energy is set up by using the intrasystem electromagnetic topology model, then the influencing factors about the EMC performance and their interrelations are analyzed in this paper, on which basis the network architecture model of EMC evaluation for a vehicular communication system is established.Secondly, this paper presents the ANP-TOPSIS method applies to non-linear characteristics of the assessment question after depthly analyzing advantages and disadvantages of a variety of assessment methods. In addition, for information sources of various types of factors have different characteristics, this paper presents suitable and specific quantification methods. Finally, the evaluation software for the EMC performance of vehicular communication system is developed using Visual Basic. Through the verification application in related projects, the indicator system and evaluation method in this paper can meet the requirements of the vehicular communication system EMC evaluation.
