Application Software Of LED CMS Based On Linux And QT

With the development of the economy of our country, the highway system develops fast. A real-time, effective ITS (intelligent traffic system) that is convenient for releaseing traffic information is badly needed. As an important part of the ITS, The LED CMS (changing message sign) is responsible for releaseing traffic information, the research of the LED CMS and its software are extremely important.The LED CMS software system is based on ARM, it choices Linux as its operation system and QT as its develop tool. First, this article discusses the develop steps of Linux OS and key skills of QT. After analysising the requirement of LED CMS, this article builds the whole software frame; divide the software system into four modes and gives detailed analysis of each mode. Second, this article analysis the data communication protocols and uses socket and com as its communication ways. Third, the article summarizes the key technologies used in the development. The LED CMS has been put into practical engineering and its technology can be used for reference to future development of LED CMS.
