DSP Software Implementation Of HSDPA Technology

The third generation of mobile telecommunication system (3G) is not far away, HSDPA (High Speed Downlink Packet Access), the upgraded technology of WCDMA, efficiently increases the throughput of downlink and gives higher downlink data rate. Driven by the market and the technology, the HSDPA dispatch algorithms are more and more mature now. How to make the data transmissions more stable and more efficient, become a key element to affect the total system capability.Bases on the background of HSDPA software development project, this thesis analyzes the HSDPA system in detail, and goes deep into the design and the implementation of every kind of data transmissions. This thesis designs and implements the transmission of normal phonetic data by EDMA chain. The author proposes the implement of the high speed downlink data transmission by QDMA to reduce CPU expense, and proposes a new way to implement the transmission of HSDPA feedback data. At last, this thesis proves that data transmissions are stable and efficient by experimental data.
