With the fast development of computer technology, the component technique and the architecture of 3-layer distributed application are extensively applied. This paper puts forward the solution based on 3-layer Windows DNA architecture and COM+ aiming at the shortcomings on the productivity, safety, and stability of the stereotypical 2-layer C/S architecture. The design and realization of monitor and control system for the remote data transmission in details are studied and some key techniques utilized by the system are expatiated in this paper.Firstly, component technique is studied, the network architecture of the system is designed and the project of the remote data transmission is chosen in this paper.Secondly, some theories and techniques of Windows DNA and COM+ are studied in this paper, especially the application of Windows DNA in the system and characteristics of COM+. In developing this system based on Windows DNA and COM+, Microsoft Office Access 2003 as database server and Visual C++ 6.0 as IDE to develop the client side software and the middle components are adopted in this system.Thirdly, multithreading technique and real-time database system are studied in this paper, ADO database access technique is chosen as the project of database access. Circulation storage realized by multithreading buffer is adopted to improve the subsequent performance and efficiency of the history database access.Finally, the requirement analysis of the system and the design of databases are fulfiled in this paper. There're several parts such as introducing the function analysis of this system, the partition of function modules, the design principles and realization of the database. The design and realization of the middle components based on Windows DNA and COM+, and the design of corresponding client programs in details are introduced. The function that many remote clients receive data from the central server to dispose and timely display data acquisition uniformly is realized in this system, and the question of remote data transmission and information processing are sloved.
