In recent years, with the development of marine resources exploitation and marine defense technology, the rapid development of high resolution imaging sonar becomes more urgent. Currently, electronic beamforming is usually used in traditional imaging sonar, in which data throughput and computation is large. lens sonar has been widespread concerned for it overcomes these shortcomings of traditional sonar.Part of the lens module sonar system design and debugging, as well as the debugging of the sonar system as a whole are completed and the functions of the lens sonar are basically implemented in this paper, which is based on the given the technical parameters. Module design and debugging was devided in two parts, which are hardware and software.In the hardware part, control modules, power modules and data commutator board are designed and debugged, and the data acquisition module is debugged; in the software part, the FPGA programs in control module and data acquisition module are designed and debugged, as well as the single-chip program in control module. After the module debugging is successful, the system is debugged as a whole, of which the debugging methods and steps are described in detail and the key experimental data and pictures are listed and analysed in this paper.According to the results of the hardware and software debugging, the system is normal, stable and consistent with the design requirements, and lies a good foundation for the experimentation in the pool.
