Safety is a key point in the fast development of railway transportation, so it's necessary to apply modern monitoring equipment in monitoring the train condition. Trackside Acoustic Detector Systems (TADS), one of the train condition monitoring systems and also an important composition of 5T system, could provide online prediction of bearing failure and prevent accidents like derailment and cutting-axle. Therefore, it is an important facility to insure the safety of railway transportation.This thesis presents the overall structure of TADS monitoring and on-line tracing forecast system, the system development environment, the system function modules and the designing of Oracle database. Through analysis of the status quo of the faults of domestic railway bearing and deep study of the requirements of TADS application, software of the TADS monitoring and on-line tracing forecast system based on B/S mode is designed and developed in terms of network connection, application mode, data storage, real-time monitoring.Based on B/S mode, this system adopts ASP.NET technology to realize distant monitoring of the real-time condition of bearing for railway bureau, rolling stock depot and examining and repairing institute of wagon distributed in different sites. And it also boasts of other functions such as information feedback, data querying and statistical reports and could improve the accuracy rate of bearing failure prediction through on-line tracing. Special attention is given to technical problems such as web client data grain refreshing using XML and XmlHttp technology, web database accession using ADO.NET technology and long-distance accession of Oracle database. Establishment of the bearings failure database would be of great help in summarizing the law of bearings failure and proposing of new bearing failure tracing and judgment model. The primary functions of system have been realized and have now been applied in some railway bureaus, yielding good performance.
