The paper based on the project "Designing of Palm Lab", which aims at providing convenience for Underwater Acoustic Experiments. On the basis of portableness and the module-level programming in software, the system can be used as a general and extensible data acquisition system. In the underwater experiment, in accordance with the actual situation, the completed Palm Lab can conveniently and flexibly select the suited digital signal processing project to do the data processing immediately.This instrument uses ARM9 as core hardware platform and embeds real time operating system Linux as software platform to construct software research on Palm Lab. The paper is effectively combined the signal processing with embedded technology and formats a mode which includes Linux system, signal processing and embedded GUI.The paper uses module-level programming to make signal processing algorithms form a module and achieve the centralized management. These modules which triumphantly complete signal processing project's selection and simplify the accession of the signal processing modules later. At the same time, the use of Qt which is the interface development tools in Linux completes the Human-machine interface of Palm Lab. Then the interface combines effectively with digital signal processing technology, completes the signal generation, processing and display of data results.
