In the modern power system, as a bridge for AC-DC, converter valve plays an important role. Thyristor control and monitoring system ensure not only a reliable converter valve, but also the safe operation of the entire power system. In this subject, the thyristor control and monitoring system was discussed.In this study, thyristor trigger control and multi-channel real-time detection system is a part of the control and monitoring system. In this paper, this system implement based on FPGA and CPLD devices. This system not only greatly simplified the electronic circuit, but also improved the accuracy,reliability and maintainability of the system.In this paper, first, the background knowledge of the subject was discussed, including the framework of converter valve, the algorithm of thyristor trigger and detection, the framework of valve control and monitoring system. Meanwhile, the thyristor control and monitoring system was explained. Second, the algorithm of thyristor trigger control and multi-channel real-time detection system was discussed. Finally, the process of system development and debugging was explained. In the next phase of work, the thyristor control and monitoring system needs to be improved,from engineering perspective.
