Research On Modeling Of Flight Simulation About Prototype Of Light Weight Flight Simulator

Flight Simulator is a real-time simulation system, which can simulate flight in the air and operation on the ground. The simulator that plays an important role in military affairs and business not only administer real sense of operation to the learner, but also be economical and secure. As the central mathematic model of the simulator, the model of flight system takes on the solution of kinematic equation, the calculation of aerodynamic characteristic and the simulation of subsystem, its veracity has effect on the reality of the simulator directly.Under the background of Prototype of Light Weight Flight Simulator, base on the analysis of current flight simulation software, first, the thesis took boeing 747-100B as the modeling object, constructed a model frame, and researched the model architecture and data transmission using software engineering method. Secondly, contaposing the function of each subsystem, the paper modularized the whole model, founded mathematic models one by one. Thirdly, the article analyzed the characteristic of current solution of differential equation, solved kinematic equation and Euler angles using Adams-Bashforth and Quaternions respectively. The result of simulation proved that these methods were competent for model. The comparison among methods of aerodynamic derivatives calculation was carried out, and the conclusion of test proved that the calculation of thrice spline method was not only rapid, but also exact. Finally, the author designed computer model by using C++ compiled language, and the validity of software was validated. Flight Simulation Database was designed which included a great deal of information on aircraft framework, aerodynamics, engine and control system, and applied in the simulation.
