The Research Of An Education Management System Based On RIA

Education management is very important in higher school, it is the core of the whole school management. Education management is a task that accord to certain education principle using advanced management methods to organize, coordinate, command, guide all kinds of workers to work in order to complete education task, achieve predetermined targets. Education management is the central of all school work, it is a work full of plan, purpose, adaptivity and creativity. The level of education management is related to the college school education order and teaching quality improvement, it is very important.As the higher education's development, the traditional education management methods can not meet the present education management's requirement. Although some college school developed some education management system, many of them are desktop or client/server application. Functions can not meet new requirement and the generality, scalability, UI friendlity need some improvement.This paper studied many education management. With the experience of the upgrade of the university's pre education management system, this paper introduced an education management system architecture based on RIA. The paper studied all kinds of RIA technology, compared each of them. The AJAX RIA technology has the advantages of having many real applications, cross platform, without runtime environment, so the system selected AJAX technology to develop. The paper also describes the system's architecture, the main module's design detail.The course scheduling problem in education management system is a typical time tabling problem. This kinds of problem is a combinatorial optimization problem and have a wide range of applications in practice. The paper also do some study on this topic and introduced a greedy algorithm that combined priority and statistics.
