With the development of modern technology and industry, the higher precision and safer are demanded for the measurement of hydrogen concentration. Meanwhile with the development of the sensing technology of optical fiber, optical fiber sensor is applied to many fields owing to its connatural advantage such as resistance to electromagnetism environment, remote measurement, and small size and so on. The paper discusses a design of micro-mirror optical fiber hydrogen sensor system base on DSP TMS320F2812 and develops the details about the every part of the system and the digital processing. The paper introduces the theory of hydrogen sensing with palladium-coated and its theoretical modeling through the extensive reading and in-depth summarizing relevant documentation. For purpose of reducing the influence form environment, improving the precision and stability of the sensor, a double optical path is adopted, which has another optical path as the reference optical path.Weak signal processing is an important part of optical fiber sensor system. Theories about correlation detection and lock-in amplifier are studied. The paper introduces the adopted DSP TMS320F2812 and CCS which is the development tool of the TMS320F2812. An analog signal detection system and a digital signal processing system based DSP for optical fiber hydrogen sensors are designed. Some technology involved in study process are discussed . They drive the light source stably and process the realtime receiving signals. At last, based on the research above, the prototypes of an optical fiber hydrogen sensor are developed. Chart of the relevant conduct data are given and it shows that the design satisfied design requirements.
