Energy is an important part which is driving the development of of the world. In today's society as a new, highly efficient and clean energy, hydrogen has been attracted by the various national attention, thus the safe use of hydrogen has been placed in front of everyone which is thought as an important issue. Accurate detection of hydrogen relates to the safety of hydrogen use. In view of these, my project main researches digital signal processing unit of fiber optic sensor system, dedicated to develop a simple and fast fiber hydrogen detection system based on DSP processor which can adapt to various environments.Digital signal processing is a device which uses computer or dedicated processor. With the method of numerical calculation, we process the signal by filtering, transforming, compressing, recognizing, enhancing and so on, it can extract useful information. With the rapid development of computer and information science, theories and technique about digital signal processing become more sophisticated, which have a wide range of applications in various fields.First on the basis of the widely read and the understanding of relevant literature, this paper analyzed the difficulty of hydrogen detection and demonstrated the feasibility of Weak Signal Detection which combined with the relevant circumstances of weak signal digital processing. Full using the advantages of digital signal processing, the DSP processor is introduced into the optical fiber hydrogen sensor.On the Implementation aspects of signal processing systems, take TMS320F2812 DSP chip as the core , I designed and developed peripheral circuits of digital signal processing. By using CCS of TI software development platform, I researched the digital filter and digital lock-in amplifier technology on the theoretical basis of Weak Signal Detection. In the end I achieved a stable light-driven unit and a signal detection system of fiber-optic hydrogen.Finally, I developed a digital signal processing unit based on DSP and we have carried out the experimental testing of hydrogen sensors on the platform support of the laboratory based on the above discussion and research. The results show that the signal processing system developed a lot of advantages and broad prospects in signal analysis and processing.
