Design And Realization Of Heterogeneous& Distributed Database Synchronization Technique

Database replication is an important kind of technologies to improve database performance, reliability and avaliability in the distributed environments. With the high-speed development of computer technology, especially distributed database technology, computer managements for data and information have been applied to many fields.But these data and information are separated, even mutually isolated, integrating these systems is a difficult matter. Moreover, with the enhancing of the application system's complexcity and the growing of database's heterogeneities, data storage and access method has very large differences, thus we should calculate to use special facility to deal with data sharing.Heterogeneous database replication is an important method to resolving information integration. This paper regards heterogeneous database replication as integrating of database replication and heterogeneous database, and analyzes both aspects. The paper has first analyzed the related distributed database theory, then explained serveral terms about heterogeneous database replication, introduced the heterogeneous database replication technology in detail, and summarized the duplication method which the current mainstream database system adopts, pointing out their technical characteristic, practical situation and their shortcoming. Finally, commbined with the actual project, elaborate the data replication plan implemented in The information system about water and soil conservation of Hubei Province.At last, the paper summarizes the research achivement, proposed keystone of the future research and forcast the future.
