Gas composition detection established in certain applications, such as air quality control, combustion contral, food industry and fire detection. Acoustic detection methods for gas composition sensor is the lastest focus.A modified equivalent circuit model of an acoustic gas sensor with resonator is developed and investigated. The circuit modeling of an acoustic gas sensor with resonator is based on the resemblance between frequency characteristics of RLC-links and resonant frequency related with the concentratations of the components in the gas mixtures. The concentratations are worked out by comparing the measured impedance curve with the model one, when the simulated model can describle the real situation exactly. It offers equivalent analysis model for sensor design, which leads to get the concentrations of the sample. In this new model, which is based on FMYB and Babak model, resonator is equivalent to RCL-link and the characteristics of acoustic radiation is also included. It not only tells the trend of an impedance curve, but also gives the value exactly in the frequency range from 38.5 to 41.0KHZ which leads to get the concentrations of the sample. According to the same gas addition, the less gas concentration changes, the more obvious the linear relations among concentration, impedance peak and resonance frequency, the less error the model gets. For different additions, the molecular mass and the concentrantion of the addition perform a role together.
