With the rapid development of the computer and network technology, the development of the high-tech with the core of an information technology and information resources make a profound impact right in all aspects of society , also it has promoted a new worldwide revolution in military affairs. The system of network becomes more complex and the data flux is increasing in the modern enterprises. Traditional discrete storage architecture is hard to solve the problem, such as data storage, data share and centralized management for its limits of disunity format of discrete data and net jam during data transmission.In this context, this paper proposes a program of iSCSI-based storage system after analyzes the situation presents of a port data storage system and introduces three kinds of network storage technologies. As it must consider the high availability to meet the special requirements, so it ensures system design requirements by increasing the number of physical links between the main nodes. And in an iSCSI- based system, the mechanism with multiple links, more connection not only increases the system's redundancy, improve the system's high availability, but also improve the performance of the system. This paper uses the network simulation software simulate this multi-link, multi-connection technology, and analyze its performance characteristics in wide-area network. In this basis, it achieves a dynamic load balancing algorithm to improve its performance more. Experiments show that this algorithm can improve the I/O throughput 7.3%.
